Dear all,

Moving table from one tablespace to same tablespace will reset the HWM. But my clarification here is, when we move into same tablesapce, does oracle move different location in the same tablesapace?? What is the actual process when we move into same tablespace?? I appriciate if any one clarify this..

If you'd query DBA_EXTENTS before & after "moving" within same tablespace, you could answer this question.
